A clear estimate.
A shared plan.
The care plan follows the store’s setup, the routine work required and the support your team expects.
What shapes the care plan?
Extension complexity, update testing, store checks and included support time shape the scope. Hosting and licence renewals are identified separately.
The plan states what is included and how larger investigations or new features are handled.
How is the work scheduled?
Update cadence, suitable release windows and review time are agreed around the store. Existing issues may need attention before routine care begins.
Support availability and response windows are confirmed explicitly; automated monitoring is a separate arrangement.

Useful for
store care.
All field notes What should store maintenance include?
Agree routine checks, update testing and the responsibilities behind a care plan.
What shapes a maintenance plan?
Separate planned work, support time and larger changes before comparing costs.
Check updates before customers do.
Review compatibility and the buying flow on a suitable test copy.
A backup needs a restore plan.
Check what is covered, who controls it and how a recovery would be verified.
Before we plan your store care.
Can the store stay on its current hosting?
Hosting does not need to change by default. We review whether the current environment supports the agreed backups, test copy and maintenance work.
Does the plan include every future fix?
The plan defines included work and time. Larger investigations, new functionality and third-party failures are assessed separately.
How are updates checked?
Checks are chosen around the store: products, variations, cart, shipping, checkout and agreed integrations. Installing an update successfully is not the whole check.
Do you offer an emergency response window?
Availability, response windows and escalation are confirmed before the plan starts. A routine maintenance plan should not be treated as an emergency response commitment.
Who manages extension renewals and backups?
The plan records the owner of each licence, hosting account and backup responsibility. Renewals and recovery work are included only when explicitly agreed.
Can we add new features during maintenance?
Yes, through a separate agreed scope. We identify the requirements, estimate the change and plan its checks before adding it to the store.
