A useful starting point
What should
feel better?
One template.
A clearer journey.
A product page, navigation pattern or buying step may need attention without a complete store redesign.
Your brand,
across the store.
Plan a consistent family of desktop and mobile templates around the products and content available.
Keep what the
store depends on.
Inventory URLs, product data, connections and purchase rules before choosing what should change.
Selected work.
Commerce, in the real world.

Your store.
Designed around the journey.
The design follows the customer decisions, the brand and the existing store behavior it needs to support.
Scroll down to explore the store redesign, or swipe across the cards. When this row is focused, use Left and Right, or Home and End.
Plan the experience across the store.
Define the pages and reusable components needed beyond a single homepage.
Review desktop and mobile layouts together, with realistic content and catalog examples.
Make buying decisions easier.
Review product information, variation selection and the agreed cart, checkout and account layouts.
Preserve the underlying buying rules while improving the relevant presentation.
Help customers find the right product.
Consider category structure, navigation, product search and filters around the actual catalog.
Catalog restructuring is a separate decision when it extends beyond the agreed templates. Plan product search and filters.
Design around the behavior in place.
Identify the integrations and custom features the new templates must continue to support.
New connectors and payment changes are scoped separately rather than assumed.
Give your team a workable system.
Define reusable components and editor-friendly content where they are part of the implementation.
Agree who supplies copy, imagery and product information before design review.
Preserve the store through the change.
Review the templates on a test copy with relevant products, URLs and purchase scenarios.
Any URL change needs its own mapping and redirect checks before release. What to preserve through a redesign.
A design system
your team can use.
The handover connects the reviewed templates with the content, store rules and daily tasks behind them.
One coherent store design system.

A clear estimate.
A shared plan.
Redesign scope follows the templates, content and implementation work the store actually needs.
What shapes the redesign estimate?
The number of page types, reusable components, custom behavior and content preparation shape the work. Design and implementation responsibilities are stated explicitly.
Migration, new integrations and wider catalog changes have separate estimates when required.
What affects the review schedule?
Brand materials, product information, imagery and feedback help move the design forward. Desktop and mobile templates are reviewed before implementation is accepted.
For an existing store, release timing and preserved behavior are checked alongside the new presentation.

Useful before
we redesign.
All field notes What to preserve through a redesign.
Account for product data, URLs and purchase rules before changing store templates.
Make a catalog easier to browse.
Plan search, categories and filters around the products and decisions customers make.
Give changing product URLs a plan.
Map existing destinations and verify the agreed redirects after a change.
A store release worth checking.
Review store behavior, responsibilities and the release plan before going live.
Before we redesign your store.
Can existing products and orders remain?
The scope should preserve existing store data by default. Any proposed change affecting it needs a specific plan, backup and approval.
Will a redesign change our URLs?
It does not need to. Existing URLs are inventoried, and any proposed change is reviewed with its mapping, redirect and testing requirements.
Can a smaller improvement be enough?
Yes. If the main issue is limited to a template or buying step, a focused change may be more useful than a complete redesign.
Are copy and product photographs included?
Content responsibilities are agreed before work starts. Copy, imagery and product preparation are included only when specifically listed in the scope.
Will our integrations still work?
The existing connections and custom behavior are identified before implementation. Relevant store flows are included in the test plan; new integrations are separate work.
What will our team receive?
The agreed templates and components, the implemented content controls and practical guidance on the delivered setup, with ownership and known limits recorded.
